About this event

As photographers, we all know how to take pictures. But Anitra Lavanhar and Doug Henderson "created" a picture for the Gathering Place's Route 66 Centennial celebration. They will walk us through their experience working together to produce their composite photograph of Route 66 in Tulsa.

Anitra Lavanhar is a Tulsa-based fine art and portrait photographer and photography instructor whose work has been exhibited, published and awarded locally and nationally. Most recently, her work Tulsa Faces and Places was on view at Tulsa International Airport; and she placed first and third in the Decagon Gallery online exhibit Something Like joy.

Doug Henderson has been a professional photographer since 1985. He has worked in twelve countries on four continents. His photographic series on African Slave Castles is on exhibit at the Smithsonian.

And join us for dinner at Baxter's Interurban Grill at 4:30 p.m. Register for dinner here.
