Fireworks at PHOTOG Ridge - July
About this event
Friday Photo Fun Night - July - Fireworks at PHOTOG Ridge
This will be a great opportunity to learn how to shoot fireworks if you have not done it before, or refresh your skills if you have already done this. Also spice it up a bit and try some ICM that we learned from our Education Meeting. One of the best parts of the evening is the fun before the fireworks. Great social time!
We will work on settings, capture strategies, etc. Fireworks start about 10 minutes after the game is over (9:30 to 9:45pm typically).
Location: PHOTOG Ridge - is the area on the south side of the OETA parking lot and also north of I-244.
Parking: Park just north of the OETA studios on the east side of Greenwood (Don't park in spots labeled for OETA).
What to Bring: camera, wide-angle lens, tripod, flashlight, cable release (if you have one), lawn chair, water & bug spray.
Suggested Settings: F/8, ISO 100, 5-15 second exposure, Tungsten WB.
Following the event add 6-8 of your best images to our Facebook album. A link will be sent to all who register.
