Events - Event View

Every picture has a story!  Where were we?  When were we there?  Why were we there? What caused us to push the button with that particular image in the viewfinder?  Was the image planned and/or did serendipity play a role? 

This session should be a fantastic opportunity to learn a bit more about each other and what went into the capture of some of the wonderful images this group churns out.  Way more important than ribbons are the emotions, the learnings, and the delight associated with our experiences, and the images that help remind us of those special moments, places, people.

EVERYONE is encouraged to submit an image or some images into the Tulsa State Fair, and to pick one or two to discuss during this special night of sharing.  There is plenty of experience in the group entering and preparing images for the Fair.  We'll be glad to help you learn the ropes.  ...but, if you don't quite get things pulled together to get an image you would like to talk about entered in the Fair, what the heck, submit it as well!

Images for this special night should be a max number of pixels in the long dimension of 1200 should be emailed to Bill Ramsay at billramsay01@cox.net  between September 15th and September 22nd, to permit time for creation of the show.  Include a title and any other info you would like with or on the slide for that image.

It will be a blast to (subsequently) go to the Fair and enjoy the exhibition having learned a bit more about our fellow photographers, what makes them tick, and what went into some of the photos!
